Registration Period
The registration page will remain open until October 1st, 2025.
- September 1st, 2025: Early registration deadline / Normal registration open
- October 1st, 2025: Late registration deadline
At least one co-author of every paper (main or satellite) must pay the in-person participation fee by the early registration deadline. See below for details.
Registration Fees
MODELS 2025 offers different participation packages. Full conference registration gives unrestricted access to the whole conference including all the below:
- Satellite events run from Sunday to Tuesday and include workshops, tutorials, doctoral symposium, educator symposium, and the EDTconf and SAM conferences. Satellite registration gives access from Sunday to Tuesday and includes the Satellite reception on Monday.
- The main conference runs from Wednesday to Friday and includes tracks of technical papers, keynote presentations, award talks, the panel, poster sessions, and Industry Day. Main conference registration gives access from Wednesday to Friday and includes the Welcome reception on Wednesday and Banquet on Thursday.
- Industry Day runs on Tuesday and includes invited talks from influential companies and all other events happening during these days. Industry day registration gives access to Tuesday and the satellite reception.
On each day, two coffee breaks and a lunch will be offered to all registered participants. There are three main social events planned during the conference: - The satellite events reception is on Monday evening - The welcome reception will take place on Wednesday evening - The conference banquet is on Thursday evening

Payment Method
For credit card payments, the online system uses secure encryption to protect your card and personal details.
Cancellation and refund policy: Canceling a registration can be done before September 1st 2025. To do so, please contact the General Chair of MODELS 2025. Please be advised that a refund of 70% will be issued, less the processing fee. After that date, cancellations are not refundable, but we allow registration transfers.
Author/Presenter Registration
At least one author must register as a regular member/non-member for a satellite, main conference or full conference. In particular:
- Workshop author, tutorial presenter, SAM conference author, EDTconf author, and educators symposium author must register as regular member/non-member for satellite or full conference.
- Foundations/Practice track author, Tools & demo author, journal-first presenter, and poster presenter must register as regular member/non-member for the main conference or the full conference.
- Industry Day speaker must register for satellite events, or full conference.
- Doctoral symposium and ACM Student Research Competition participants can register as students.
Member Discount
Thanks to our sponsors, ACM and IEEE members benefit from a discounted registration fee. If you are not already a member of either organization, you can do so before registering for the conference. The conference registration requires a valid ACM or IEEE member ID to confirm the registration. Participants who are active members of these organizations should choose the corresponding product ending with the term “member”. All other participants should choose the corresponding product ending with the term “Non-member”.
Student Registration
Student registration includes all social event(s) of their package. Students who register must present proof of status in an academic institution at the registration desk when checking in. Failing to do so will require paying the balance of the Regular (non-member/member) fee at the registration desk.
