At AWS, we have been exploring the future of software development by leveraging cutting-edge generative AI capabilities and investigating how software engineers, product managers, business analysts, and testers will work in the future. We have packaged these insights into an experiential program called AI Driven Development Lifecycle (AI-DLC). Through this session, we discuss how to create highly maintainable, production-grade software using AI tools, while maintaining human oversight and decision-making authority. This approach has enabled companies to significantly accelerate their development timelines, completing projects in days that previously took months, while simultaneously preparing their teams for an AI-native future.
