MODELS 2025

Presenter Information Guide

Congratulations for having your work accepted for presentation at MODELS 2025 and the co-located events! Below we provide information to help you prepare your presentation.

Program

MODELS 2025 has a "blended" program where papers from the Research, Industry Showcase, NIER, Tools Demonstrations, Late Breaking Results, and Journal First tracks are combined in sessions that are organized by topic.

Virtual Platform

MODELS 2025 uses Whova as virtual platform to support the in-person conference as well as to enable virtual participation. Whova provides a persistent chat and Q&A feature so that discussions can be handled online in addition to the live Q&A session at the conference.

Each session in Whova will use a Zoom session under its hood, i.e., the handling of the live stream and screen sharing, etc., should feel familiar for most of us.

Whova User Guides:

Presentation Guidelines

Important: Please arrive in your assigned room 20 minutes prior to the session start to meet your session chair and test out your screen connection.

  • Connect your laptop to the Whova Zoom session
  • Share your screen
  • Mute your microphone and audio on the laptop (audio and video will come from the equipment in the room)
  • Note: Connecting the laptop directly to the projector will not be possible

For Virtual Presenters

Please connect to the Zoom room via Whova. You should have received an invite to join the Whova event of MODELS2025.

Presentation Time

The papers will be presented in the order they are listed in the program.

18 Minutes per presentation slot
13-15 Minutes recommended for talk
3-5 Minutes for Q&A
Note: Please prepare your talks within these time limits. The slot limits will be enforced by the session chairs.
