In today’s era of generative AI (GenAI), teaching and ensuring students’ learning has become challenging. This paper advocates for the integration of GenAI (Microsoft Copilot) with a serious game to support the teaching of analysis and modelling of business requirements in higher education. We argue that combining GenAI with games can foster engagement, critical thinking, and conceptual understanding among first-year computer science students. The game asks students to identify AI-generated errors in four topics (requirements engineering process, business process modelling, data modelling, and other requirements aspects). This allows students to learn while critically assessing AI-generated output. This paper positions GenAI not as a threat, but as a pedagogical tool capable of transforming how students learn.
