Tue 7 Oct 2025 16:00 - 16:30 at DCIH 507 - Session 2

At ROC, we are working on building the next generation of biometrics and object detection capabilities powered by the latest advances in Vision AI. While much work is of course expended by research scientists trying to improve the accuracy and efficiency of our AI models, software engineering also plays a critical role in bringing exciting research ready technologies into production. Whether it be vitally important practices from data-engineering, research to production code integration, robust testing, or product development, software engineering plays a pivotal role in the various workflows at ROC. Thus, this talk aims to highlight some of these key areas that software engineering is filling a vital role across various workflows at ROC enabling us to bring AI models to production.
